Chef Jamal Frazier was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. Being the oldest of three children gave him a sense of maturity and responsibility to prepare small meals for his siblings and cousins. Growing up in his Nanny's kitchen where he witnessed her cook enough food for everyone who wanted a plate in the neighborhood was where he first experienced love through sharing a meal.
Jamal continued to explore and research various types of healthy eating styles as he was on his journey of fusing great tasting recipes with clean eating habits. This led to a love of fresh produce, years of exploring recipes and new techniques, and learning how to incorporate international foods and spices in some of his favorite dishes.
He serves as owner and head chef of The Frazier Experience since 2018. His role varies as a private in home chef, caterer for large and small groups, meal prep chef, and he now provides food consultations and online cooking classes.
Jamal excelled in the art of cooking steaks to the right temperature as well as perfecting the consistency and flavor profiles of sauces, marinades, infused oils and glazes. The At Home Experience line of sauces and seasonings has launched. He gained his skills and expertise through putting in many hours being mentored by other accomplished chefs, planning customer event menus, creating and perfecting his own recipes, and traveling and researching to explore and grasp new techniques.
This was Jamal's roadmap to amazing flavor profiles for his food and creating a distinct taste that invites people to come together to experience the love through his food the way he did back in Nanny's kitchen.
